Deliverable 5.3 – Safety Assessment Report

AEON aims at fostering the use of environmentally friendly ground operations techniques such as autonomous (i.e., e-taxi), non-autonomous (i.e., TaxiBots) or Single Engine Taxiing (SET). For the developed AEON concept of operation, a preliminary safety assessment was performed. The assessment was largely qualitative and aimed at identifying and exploring important safety issues and related safety scenarios that could be investigated by more in-depth quantitative safety risk assessment approaches.
