This “Increasing Automation in ATM and Airport Operation” event represents a milestone in the activities conducted by the AEON Consortium with the thorough involvement of the aviation industry. The event sets the conclusion of the project activities, the ones aimed to pave the way for a more sustainable concept of taxing operations. Similarly, the occasion gathered together most of the people involved in the development of the concept of green taxiing operations. The results presented were warmly welcomed by the audience and this gave us, once again, a very positive feeling about the future of aviation. Now, until the end of the year, the Consortium will keep sharing information about the latest deliverables currently under the assessment of the SESAR JU.
