We has been chosen from the SESAR JU as the project of the month! In its periodic e-News, the association that promotes research activities in ATMs for a single European sky has presented AEON as “The green promise of aircraft taxiing technologies”.
A huge acknowledgement that pushes us to continue giving our best to define a concept of operations for engine-off taxiing techniques, making use of novel technologies that are coming onto the market, such as:
- Non-autonomous taxiing, expected to reduce fuel consumption during taxiing by 50% to 85%.
- Autonomous taxiing, expected to reduce fuel costs by up to 85% of ground operations costs
- Single engine taxiing, expected to reduce taxi fuel consumptions by 20%.
